‘I think he’ll retire’: Buzz is ‘80 per cent’ sure Storm will lose Smith – Fox Sports
Senior News Corp journalist Phil Rothfield has revealed there’s noise coming out of Melbourne HQ that captain Cameron Smith will hang up the boots at season’s end.

Smith is 37 years old and is the only player to ever surpass 400 NRL games, and has won every award the game has to offer including multiple premierships and Origins.
He is off contract and yet to make a decision on his future.
Storm boss Matt Tripp said over the weekend he wants Smith and coach Craig Bellamy to remain at the club for as long as possible.
Round 13
But Rothfield told NRL 360 he believes Smith wont be playing in 2021.
