Queensland businesses are limiting spending to essentials only, as companies continue to brace for what will happen when government support such as JobKeeper ends.
The latest Pulse Survey for the June quarter, commissioned by Suncorp and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland, has painted a bleak picture of the reality facing many operators as a result of COVID-19.
More than half of the 1167 people who responded feared their businesses wouldn’t survive beyond the next 12 months.
