Bill to provide $US1 billion for Israel’s ‘Iron Dome’ system introduced in US Congress

The leader of the US House of Representatives Appropriations Committee has introduced legislation to provide $US1 billion ($1.37 billion) to Israel to replenish its “Iron Dome” missile-defence system, a day after the funding was removed from a broader spending bill.
