Top End magpie goose season commences with lower bag limit after population decline
At precisely 6:00am on Wednesday, the calm sound of cicadas and the gentle honk of magpie geese flying over Harrison Dam, 50 kilometres south-east of Darwin, was cut by a barrage of gunfire as the Northern Territory’s waterfowl season kicked off.
