Queensland Health extends southeast mask mandate until September 24 amid COVID scares

As Queensland authorities move to put out more COVID-19 spot fires, a mandate on masks in the south east has been extended.
The mandate for people in 11 local council areas, introduced in late June, will be in place until at least 4pm on September 24, Queensland Health announced on Friday.
