Bed shortage amid high demand sends Brisbane hospital into ‘code yellow’

A major Brisbane hospital is in “code yellow” because of bed shortages and staff have been asked to discharge patients where possible.

An alert sent to staff at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital said it was experiencing “a high level of demand for beds”.
