ASX set to fall, as investors await GDP figures on potential ‘double dip’ recession

Australian shares were likely to fall in morning trade, with investors awaiting today’s GDP figures and Wall Street slipping from its record highs.
ASX futures were down 0.5 per cent to 7,443 points (by 7:00am AEST).
The Australian dollar had risen to 73.13 US cents (up 0.3 per cent).
