States top doctor confirms new cases coronavirus will be announced later this morning; asks Queenslanders to persevere.
Dr Jeanette Young said while the number of todays cases was less than 10, any number of cases was alarming.
She also said in the past 24 hours, Queensland Health had administered 6866 coronavirus tests and anyone in Brisbanes southern metro region who had any concerns was encouraged to get tested at one of the several fever clinics in the region.
