Young Qld soccer player killed on highway remembered as talented and tenacious

A young Queensland soccer player who was killed on the Bruce Highway on Monday night has been remembered as a talented man with “incredible strength and determination”.

Nathan Weckert, 17, was driving north on the highway when his car hit a guardrail at Palmview on the Sunshine Coast.
