The ‘little hands’ behind the making of an haute couture gown – Sydney Morning Herald
Dozens of women work in almost religious silence, peering through their glasses to focus on the tiny details of their creations. Sometimes up to 10 women work on a single dress, hunched over the exquisite fabric.

How is an haute couture dress made? What is it made of? What is its story? Whose hands have touched it? On average, from an initial sketch to the catwalk, it takes around four months to make.
