Queensland police spend 40 per cent of their time on domestic violence calls

Frontline police officers in Queensland are spending 40 per cent of their time attending to domestic and family violence incidents.
More than 1300 online reports and 205 registrations for SMS reporting have been made since April last year, when additional reporting options were introduced.
