Three AFL clubs reportedly facing sanctions for COVID-19 protocol breaches
The AFL is reportedly considering handing out substantial fines to three clubs after COVID-19 protocol breaches in Queensland hubs. 7 News is reporting AFL officials including CEO Gillon McLachlan have been in “high-level discussions” with North Melbourne, Carlton and Richmond.
The report says the league is considering fines of up to $50,000 with some of the penalty potentially suspended.
