Queensland police launch probe after man dies while running from officers in Ipswich

A man has died after falling off a balcony while running from police in Ipswich, west of Brisbane.

The 30-year-old man ran from officers who attended an address on West Street in Woodend on Wednesday morning.

He died at the scene of the fall.
