Sonny Bill Williams won’t be the only Toronto player for whom the NRL bends the rules in the coming days.
“Every decision the commission makes is based on what is in the best interests of the game,” acting NRL chief executive Andrew Abdo told The Herald.
“The Sonny Bill situation is very simple. The rules state you cannot be contracted in two competitions at the same time.
