Hours After Announcing It, Riot Dumps Saudi Arabian Sponsorship – Kotaku Australia
Hours after announcing a partnership with Saudi Arabia’s futuristic megacity, Riot Games has killed the partnership following a deluge of complaints.

It was only this morning that Riot Games was copping flak from all sides for accepting a sponsorship from NEOM, a techno-city funded by Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. But before the deal could even get going, the Valorant and League of Legends developer has announced that the deal is dead.
In a statement posted on the official League esports page, Riots EMEA director of esports, Alberto Guerrero, said the deal would be ended effective immediately after further reflection:
