‘Feel like I’ve deserted my brothers’
Veteran St Kilda player Nathan Brown has confirmed his retirement from the game, in a heartfelt letter apologising to his teammates for deserting them.
Last week the 31-year-old left the club’s Noosa hub to return home to his family in Melbourne, and he’s now announced his 183-game career is over.
Brown, who played in Collingwood’s 2010 premiership-winning side, joined the Saints in 2017, but didn’t play a game in 2020, with St Kilda preferring to use the likes of Dougal Howard and Jake Carlis…
