Bowman suspended over Adkins fall – Punters
The fate of jockey Hugh Bowman was revealed on Thursday, as stewards handed down their penalty for his role in a shocking fall at Rosehill last Saturday.

Jockey Hugh Bowman has been given a six-week suspension after being found guilty of careless riding for his role in the shocking fall at Rosehill on Saturday.The incident occurred early in the straight when Bowman attempted to take a run between Mr Colorful and Hot ‘N’ Hazy, who was ridden by jockey Andrew Adkins.
Bowman will be free to ride again on Friday, September 11.
