Australia’s women’s world No.1 tennis star Ash Barty won’t play the US Open due to COVID-19.
Barty said in a statement on Thursday that she is still considering whether or not to defend her French Open crown.
“My team and I have decided that we won’t be travelling to the US for the Western and Southern Open and the US Open this year,” she said.
