Barcelona announces star Lionel Messi will leave due to financial issues

Barcelona has announced that Lionel Messi, regarded as one of the best footballers of all time, will not stay with the club, saying that the Spanish league’s financial regulations made it impossible to sign the Argentina star to a new contract.
