Queensland health officials brace for COVID explosion after case confirmed in Cairns
Queenslanders have been warned they could be on the verge of a major COVID-19 outbreak after a positive case was confirmed in Cairns.
The mystery infection is hundreds of kilometres away from a cluster in Brisbane, which swelled to 47 after 16 new cases were announced on Tuesday.
