Queensland plans 2022 liftoff for Whitsundays launch pad – Brisbane Times
The Queensland government has spent more than a year trying to find a potential new orbital rocket launch pad in the state.
Mackay MP Julieanne Gilbert said the next phase would involve “detailed technical and due diligence on the proposed site”.
If the findings are positive, the next stages include market sounding and wider public consultation,” she said.
