Wine sales to China crash on tariff hit – The Australian Financial Review
The punishing tariffs meant wine exports to China plunged to $13m in the June half compared with $490m a year ago.
Total exports for 2020-21 to greater China, including Hong Kong and Macau, were down 33 per cent to $793 million.
A bright spot was the UK market, where exports climbed by 23 per cent to $472 million for the 12 months ended June 30.
