Three-time Group 1-winning mare Sunlight has fetched a whopping $4.2 million in a record-breaking sale at the Magic Millions broodmare auction.
The sale to Coolmore Australias Tom Magnier smashed the previous Magic Millions record of $3.4m, with the horse becoming most expensive filly or mare ever sold at auction in the southern hemisphere.
