QC 5.0 is the companys first 100W+ fast charging solution, and it is coming later this year.
Initially, QC 5.0 will fast charge Qualcomm SD 865/+ and future premium phones, but it is backwards compatible with QC 2.0, 3, 4 and 4+ working at those maximum speeds.
It also supports USB-C PD 3.0 100W standards, so it has a wider appeal for all USB-C chargeable devices.
