Wireless technology provider Qualcomm Technologies has released a charging system named Quick Charge 5 that it claims can power Android devices from zero to 50% in just five minutes, which is 70% more efficient than its predecessor. Charging from zero to 100% is claimed to take just 15 minutes.In a statement, the company said this was the fastest commercial charging technology for Android devices, and also enabled new battery technology, accessories, and safety features.
