How star Knight’s injury will be the $600k headache Broncos didn’t need – Fox Sports
A long-term injury to Newcastle hooker Andrew McCullough has left the Knights without a genuine fit No.9 and could spell the end of their premiership dreams for 2020.
But in the long-run McCulloughs hamstring, which was ripped off the bone on Sunday according to his coach, could end up being an even bigger headache for poor Brisbane.
And that headache could come at the tune of $600,000 for money managers at Red Hill.
The Broncos loaned the veteran rake to the Knights earlier this season after Newcastle lost starting hooker Jayden Brailey for the year to a bad knee injury.
