Europe’s Very large Telescope photos reveal relatively young, star orbited by two giant exoplanets.
The European Southern Observatorys Very Large Telescope (VLT) has taken the first image of a young, Sun-like star accompanied by two giant exoplanets. Images of systems with multiple exoplanets are extremely rare, says the ESO, and until now astronomers had never directly observed more than one planet orbiting a star similar to our Sun.
