Demons paid the price for poor execution, says Goodwin – The Age
Melbourne coach was left to rue missed opportunities after his Demons spurned a host of chances in their narrow loss to joint-ladder leaders Brisbane.
We gave ourselves opportunities, theres no question about that, but we didnt execute them. And if you dont execute against the best, you generally dont win, Goodwin said.
We are disappointed as a club. We came here to win. We want to be a winning club and we didnt do that.
