Triple Group I winner Sunlight has fetched an astounding $4.2 million in a tense budding duel at a Magic Millions sale at the Gold Coast.
Coolmore Australia’s Tom Magnier had deeper pockets than his rivals for the daughter of Zoustar, the winner of the Coolmore Stud Stakes in 2018.
Sunlight also won the Newmarket Handicap and William Reid Stakes in 2019 and finished third in the 2018 Golden Slipper.
