‘This is news to me!’ A sign at a Woolworths cashier has left one confused shopper baffled.
A Woolworths customer was left scratching his head over a checkout sign at his local store.
Sharing on Facebook, shopper Ian posted a photo of the sign which indicated the cashier was a Confectionery free checkout.
Woolworths brought in the specialised checkouts at stores as an option for shoppers who dont wish to purchase sweets.
Theyre especially handy for parents with young children, who may ask for lollies if theyre in sight.
