ASX opens lower on rising coronavirus cases and widening lockdowns

The Australian share market has dipped in early trade amid coronavirus lockdowns and increased restrictions, and travel stocks weighing it down.
At 10:40am AEST the All Ordinaries Index was down 0.4 per cent to 7,549.
The ASX 200 index was also down 0.4 per cent at 7,282.
