Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young to be Queensland’s next governor

Queensland Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young has been announced as the state’s next governor.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced Dr Young would be the state’s 27th governor, taking over from Paul De Jersey, on November 1.
