Suaalii was in Year 7 at The Kings School at the time. He was 12 years old.
By now, the highlights are well-known. As a Year 6 student at Regentville Public School, Suaalii made four NSW PSSA teams at once. At the age of 12, he could slam dunk a basketball. He made the Kings first XV at 14. By the end of last year, hed represented NSW in rugby league, AFL, basketball and rugby, and starred in the Australian Schools and U18s watershed win over the New Zealand U18s.
