De Goey to miss ‘a couple of months’ with hand injury – The Age
Collingwood say Jordan De Goey will miss approximately 10 weeks of football after having surgery on his hand.
“As I say, it looked fairly innocuous but they are serious injuries to the tendon, so it’ll be a fair while until we see him back, unfortunately.”
Walsh also said Varcoe was “unlikely at this stage” to play against West Coast as he was carrying “a bit of a rib injury”.
“We’ll see how he trains probably between now and Saturday … but right at this stage we would think that he’d be unlikely to play.”
