Queensland MP Duncan Pegg dies after cancer fight

Queensland Labor MP Duncan Pegg has died seven weeks after he announced he was retiring from politics to focus on his battle with cancer.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk paid tribute to 40-year-old Stretton MP,  saying he fought cancer with “incredible bravery and grace”.
