AFL fixture chaos as Tasmania keeps border closed – The Age
The round 11 game between North Melbourne and Melbourne will not be played at Blundstone Arena in Hobart after the Tasmanian government kept travel restrictions in place.
The surprise decision to retain travel restrictions for people coming from Queensland means the Kangaroos and Melbourne’s game scheduled for Sunday August 9 would need to be moved but keeps the door ajar for games to be played in the state after August 14.
