The motivation behind Mike Tyson’s stunning boxing comeback at the age of 54 might come as a surprise to many.
If this were, oh, 2004 it might be a safe assumption that Mike Tyson is fighting because he needs the money. Its the same sad story that has played out dozens, if not hundreds or even thousands of times over the years.
On Thursday, Yahoo Sports broke the news that Tyson, now 54, will come out of a 15-year retirement to face 51-year-old former champion Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition bout on September 12 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.
