The Philadelphia 76ers marched into the second round of the 2021 NBA playoffs thanks to a much-needed display from Ben Simmons in their closeout Game 5 against the Washington Wizards.
Entering the day, plenty of criticism was leveled at the Aussie for a perceived ‘passive’ approach through the first four games, but with Joel Embiid sidelined with a knee injury, Simmons did what no other point guard in the league can do and started Game 5 at center.
