Russian doubles player Yana Sizikova has reportedly been detained by Paris police over suspected match fixing at last year’s Roland-Garros, according to an AFP report.
The 26-year-old’s 2021 Roland-Garros campaign came to an end when she and partner Ekaterina Alexandrova were defeated 1-6 1-6 by Australian duo Storm Sanders and Ajla Tomljanovic in the first round, and she was detained after the match.
