The Reject Shop stores hit by CBD exodus – The Australian Financial Review
The Reject Shop has only a minimal e-commerce offering but CEO Andre Reich says it is bringing a younger demographic.
The company used the 2018-19 comparable store figures to give a better gauge of trading because this time last year there had been serious COVID-19 restrictions, which rendered a direct comparison largely meaningless.
The 290 stores outside the CBD and major metropolitan shopping centres had generated a 0.9 per cent rise in sales compared with 2018-19.
