‘Should have consulted the players’: Peter V’landys’ admission over NRL crackdown
ARL Commission chairman Peter Vlandys admits he made a mistake with his lack of consultation with players ahead of the introduction of the NRLs crackdown on high contact.
On SEN Radio on Friday Vlandys said it had been an error not to discuss the changes with the players before this years Magic Round.
Vlandys maintained the ARLC had no intention of being disrespectful to the players and the rule interpretation was only changed with their best interests in mind.
