NSW enforcer still ‘stewing’ over 2020 series loss as he opens up on ‘emotional’ call from Freddy
When Brad Fittler rang Junior Paulo last Saturday to let him know he had made the New South Wales side, he was greeted by Paulos wife on the other end of the call.
Paulo was there they were in the car on their way home from the Eels loss to the Rabbitohs but he says his wife did all the talking. So much so, Fittler asked her permission for Paulo to go into Blues camp.
I was sitting in the car with my partner and the kids. I think my partner did more of the talking to Freddy than I did, Paulo laughed…
