Elon Musk has claimed the second-generation Roadster will not only hit 60mph in 1.1 seconds but that it will also be able to fly.

Elon Musk is back on Twitter, talking up Teslas forthcoming vehicles. This time its the second-generation Roadster.
Back when the car was revealed in November 2017, Musk said it would be the quickest car in the world. Figure on stats like 10,000Nm of torque, a 0-60mph (96kmh) sprint in 1.9 seconds, 100mph (160kmh) in just 4.2s and the quarter-mile (402m) in 8.8 seconds, on its way to a top speed of more than 250mph (402km/h). Oh, and a range of nearly 1000km.
