Wests Tigers hooker Jacob Liddle has inked a two-year extension having battled repeated injuries that threatened to derail his NRL career.
Liddle is set to remain at the Tigers until the end of 2023 on a new deal in a show of faith from both player and club.
The 24-year-old Wyong Roos junior is backing himself to keep highly-rated youngster Jake Simpkin out of the No.9 jersey over coming seasons, while the Tigers commitment in return comes after a brutal run of injuries for Liddle.
