Carlton will renew their interest in star Sydney small forward Tom Papley, according to Channel Seven reporter Mark Stevens.
Papley requested a trade from the Swans during last years trade period with the Blues his nominated club of choice.
Pick No.9 was not enough to prise Papley out of Sydney with the deal falling through late on trade deadline day.
