God help him: Folau’s humiliating reality check as new team hammered 88-0
Just over a week ago Clive Palmer was pushing for Israel Folau to be available for selection as Southport Tigers took on Burleigh Bears.
It may have been a blessing that did not eventuate, with Folau forced instead to watch from the sidelines as the Tigers were routed 88-0.
The Bears ran in 15 tries and remain on top of the Gold Coast A-Grade ladder with four wins while Southport have just the one victory from three games this season.
