Pop star Cody Simpson will be a serious contender to compete for Australia at an Olympic Games, according to one of Australias greatest ever swimmers.
The pop star will line up for the Australian Olympic swimming trials in June and is an outsider to make the national squad heading to Tokyo a month later.
However Grant Hackett says Simpson, just 24 and a talented swimmer in his teen years, is killing himself to improve as much as possible.
