Victoria reported new coronavirus cases on the third day of the snap lockdown – after the high-risk exposure site list grew significantly.
Victoria recorded five new coronavirus cases on day three of the seven-day snap lockdown.
The new cases, which were announced on Sunday, were reported from more than 45,000 test results in the 24 hours to midnight on Saturday.
If they are all linked to the Whittlesea cluster, it would bring its total to 40 cases.
More details will be released by the Department of Health on the cases throughout Sunday.
