‘Fingers crossed’: Maroons legend loves slated Origin I move

Game one of the 2021 State of Origin series is likely to be moved from the MCG to Townsville due to Victorias COVID-19 lockdown.
Queensland Country Bank Stadium is the back-up to host the June 9 clash, which would make it the first time since 2017 a home state would host two games in a series.
As first reported by News Corp, the NRL has booked out an accomodation venue in Townsville and made function reservations at local restaurants.
