Australian Yang Hengjun made to wear full PPE for more than seven hours in court for ‘arbitrary detention’ trial

Chinese authorities forced Australian citizen Yang Hengjun to sit through a day-long trial for espionage in a full protective suit, mask and goggles, despite Beijing recording no new community transmission of COVID-19 for almost four months.
